chilly, chilly, cold, and dreary,
why don't you let me be?
I've had enough of sweaters and stuff,
and winds that make me freeze!

sunny, sunny, bright and funny,
won't you come warm my day?
for I long to lie under a clear blue sky,
PLEASE say you're coming my way!

Shelerella, want some of the heat here ... Jump over!

Very lovely poem, I think you will be rewarded for you call the warm so sweetly.

All the extremes on the extremes aren't funny at all, I agree!

Love and sunny hugs.

Here in Southern California we've had the June gloomy days since May,
so I can totally identify with your post.

Nice~

Oh, I can so identify!  Then when we get sun, we get marauded by mosquitoes (my glass doors look like a killing field - they come in with the dogs, hover at the glass and I smash them and leave their flattened bodies as a warning.  It looks grisly and is not working - they just keep on coming.  Am I ranting?) and with the sun comes smoke from wildland fires (which I am smelling now).

I agree - please - please - please bring the sun (without mosquitoes and smoke).

Hugs to you,
Alison

brrrrrrr....perhaps I should send you some of this 95-105 weather we've been having here...on top of all the rain, it makes this feel like you are living in a rice cooker...until then, though, you could always wear your digit mittens...
love ya,
Dad
