Old Bones has loads of memories,
paying visits to his head.

He knows they are all real,
because he was there.

He doesn’t dare deny these memories,
as that would destroy him,
it would be like denying his own existence.

Bobby

"it would be like denying his own existence"

~yes, sometimes all you get is sad...and then you just have to make do

Thanks dear Brneyedgrly,

You have nailed it.

Bones is fortunate that he also has happy memories to go along with the sad.  He’s lucky to have Griselda, and the four kids.

Love Bobby

Memories are what life is made of, good and bad, but don't dwell on the bad, it will distroy you. Try to remember the good times even the silly.  Believe me it is all that has kept me going all these years.

To love ourselves, the way we are thanks to all the experiences of our life, is no doubt a way to be serenely aware of the fact that so called good and so called bad events all have a reason to be and form our path of evolution. Our very own evolution. So, acceptance of what was and is, is a wise decision, dear Bobby. So welcome your memories, they are YOU.

Love,
Margherita

Thanks dear Billie,

I tend to write all my memories down, both the good and the bad.  Since I have such a short attention span, that's the only way I can keep them.

Thanks dear Margherita,

You have the right idea about memories.
