The Glimpse

Would you take the grand step 'cross the sky
to stars whose sparkles beckon ?
And sever the umbilical cord of gravity,
be awed by planetary majesty,
embrace God's endless silvern tapestry
and escape Earth's pull each second.

Then step on soil of a distant star,
first footprint at Heaven’s gate.
For centuries, you pointed to journey there
to catch that glimpse of God so rare.
Now your arrow, man made of tensiled gear,
is a star leaping Ark of Faith.

And tho' you're a faint echo of a tiny whisper
in the thunder of Time called Man;
a trembling leaf on an outstretched branch,
a blade of grass on dry land,
a corner patch on some crazy quilt
where good and evil reign.
But Greatest wonder, your relentless search,
to jump the stars in a single lurch,
to sit on God's cosmic perch
and view the Earth again !

stevenr – It’s true Stevenr. In the thunder of Time, Man is just an echo of a whisper. His major asset is that little by little he’s learning how to shout. Thanks for your “ubercool” words. Namyh

Blues Serenade – If this put a little magic in your day, then it put an uplift in mine with your captivating words. Take that grand step ‘cross the sky to those stars. They’re waiting for you. They’re waiting for me. They’re waiting for us all. Thanks Blues Serenade. Namyh

Margherita – You can pick up tickets at the McDonalds around the corner from Launch Pad 7. You can’t miss the rocket. It’s the one standing straight up. Strap in time is 5:45. Blast off time is 6:15 and we’ll boldly go to those stars whose sparkles beckon. Besides, there’s a party on Pluto. Bring an overnite bag. You’ll have a ball totally after your heart. Thanks for the “exquisite”. Namyh

I'll be there in time, you can count on me!

I just had an awesome dream in which I stargazed, together with a little boy. The view of our milky way was overwhelmingly beautiful and the little boy pointed out all the constellations ... me watching the firmament is a recurrent dream of mine ... aren't we children of the stars?

Margherita – Perhaps, it was just the innocence in all of us wanting to believe that if we can identify the stars then maybe they’re trying to indentify us and say something we can’t yet understand or that we’re not yet ready to hear. It’s the mystery that pulls us to it, like a mother pulling a child close to her for nourishment, making us indeed children of the stars. Great Dream Margherita. Namyh

Heart2Heart – Star date 204769, seven parcecs left of the Neutral Zone. This is our first confirmation that the Transporter, which has been inoperable for several days, is now working by having successfully beamed Heart2Heart on board this heavenly realm with a smile and intact. I want to personally thank the crew for their valiant effort with a special thanks to Scotty for his. Namyh out. Thanks H2H
