She speaks in lines of affection
Her words written for close inspection
Mysteries within the mind they tell
Gossamer stories she tells so well
The heart pours forth a torrent
Of drowning in waves love spent
And beneath her sentences, a whispered plea
Breathed in my ear, only for me
My eyes to trace in slow repeat
Her curves and lines in frozen heat
To become immortal this way
Within moods of swoon and sway
If only she could somehow see
That she is all I read, she is poetry

Should I take a goddess bow? LOL
You are way too sweet, Jerry.
Actually, I think our lady Serenity already has the Prime Goddess position.

Chalmette Guy - When we honor her, respect her and compliment her, she listens to us. When we kiss her, caress her and stroke her, she holds us. And when we wine her and dine her and tease her, she protects us. That's why we poets go to the ends of the Earth for her. Only the poet can capture her sentiments so well and you did it with impact. Love the craft of your work. Namyh

I'm sure that your lucky lady reads you as poetry, too. Very nice piece.
