the intake, pondering
jogging memories streaming
a bridging over
of cat tail schools
and landing pads
for all kinds,
monarch and drone
along banks of
swan songs and geese gaggling
scavenging residents,
homeless sharing bread
spectacle and spectator
as daily passers' by,
a stroll or rider's stride
attempting a speed
life presently looking forward
to a moment's rest
side-lined and benched
hand in hand, a lifetime
ageless end from end
love in motion
before emptying
out of thought
into a next

"You don't have to go
You're the poetry man
You make things all rhyme" - P. Snow

I like the energy of this poem.  You have used words well and they build upon each other very well.

I like the way your words took me through a journey and then into an ending that wraps it up with just a perfect ending.  Very nicely done and much enjoyed.  ~D

Pondering is one of my very favourite activities - in fact I have a database section for mine - and I enjoyed your stream of conscious ponderings pulsating with life iMMENSley!

I do love your ponderings! We should ponder more, no doubt.

Those "scavenging residents" are growing in number, something is so terribly wrong!

Thank you.

Love,
Margherita
