Wow, it sure has been a looooong time since i posted. Regardless, it feels good to be back, even if only for a time. Please forgive the complete rawness of this poem, like I said, it's been a while.
Without you I'm here until the end,
frozen in my own tears.
Held down by the weight of my scars,
making no progress.
I need that understanding,
the comfort of knowing what it's like.
I need you to help me up.

Without you I'm helpless.
Come to me,
and together we'll put me back together.

Your willingness to deal with life beyond them shows a strong character. Someone will see this in you and extend a firm hand. It's my hope that hand draws you closer to happiness and fulfillment.
