I don't quite know what happened
The sickness took my memories
But when I woke up
You were gone
With only sarcastic remarks left

I don't understand why
You left me when I was so ill
Why you thought
I was more trouble then I was worth
Why I thought
You would stick by my side

I don't know why you left
but I'm glad you did
You left me when I needed you the most
and I guess that says more
about you and your problems
than it does mine

I just wanted you to know
I've found friends
better friends
Who actually want to stick by me
through hard times
and
when they say they love me
they actually mean it

My pen is the barrel of a gun. Remind me which side you should be on.

This is easily to relate with, I believe everyone at some point and time has had to deal with people like that. You did a good job getting your point across.

That someone who said, "love is blind", really knew what they were talking about.
