This past wednesday (23rd) one of my closest cousins past away from a quading accident while on his way to school. It hasn't been a good week, to say the least. I wrote this for him and the rest of our family.

sometimes it's easier to just ignore the truth. i know it's there and alive and everyone else knows it too, but sometimes silence is easier than an explanation. the purity of a quiet room is a blessing in times like these. to know the truth and to just not say anything for a while; to soak up the silence and breathe clean air, it's therapeutic and horrific all in one. memories begin to flood the minds of many and tears pick up where they left off. but we won't mourn, we'll celebrate.

when silence becomes more painful than the lack of, we'll celebrate.

In loving memory of Dante Froese; 1994-2011.

My deepest condolences, Poetess. And a very potent writing.
