Notes ring in my ears
sweetly moving from one note to another
sound is so soft
no harm

The keys moving together
making sweet melodies
Kids sing
high and low
and in between

Matching the pitch
It sounds wonderfully put together
singing and playing and singing
The piano is so innocent

Listening to the wonders
that are done by the piano
He moves his fingers
making it up as he goes along

The words he tries
the song that will be famous
Playing for the fun
playing for him
the words the notes

Its nothing you herd before
It's the wonder of music

This is sublime, and the line with the innocent piano just rocked. It reached out and took my mind on a ride  that beautifully complimented the apex of this tale at just the right moment. Awesome write.

Thank you. I wrote this while in vocal class, waiting for my teacher to call me to work on my vocal pieces.

Not to be hypercritical, but...

1.  *heard, not herd
2.  The fact that the pianist isn't mentioned at all before "he" really bothers me--pronoun/antecedent
3.  It's pretty :P

Hopeless- It's supposed to be that way. The reason "he" isn't talked bout earlier is because as author I wanted it to be that you are just listening to the piano and then you focus to the one who is playing and you realize dreams can happen.

*my exbf used to play so I used him instead of my teacher who really was playing the piano during class.
