I never thought love was so hard
It seemed to creep up on me
The things you do to hurt me
Hurt worse than he ever hurt me

I am not a child, but you treat me so
Love me better, feed my soul
I don’t want love to die,
Or to let my soul feel empty

This love is wonderful, eternal
I know you love me,
Though I die every time I remember
I love you more

On the black coated walls, they wrote my doom.

This poem reminds me of this guy i used to date.. I knew he loved me.. I knew because he would never go near another girl.. he'd always come home to me every night without fail.. Problem was he couldn't admit it.. he couldn't say it out-loud and no matter how much i loved him, it would always be a love that couldn't last.. -- love ur work, always have, always will
