Moment of Weakness

Momento de debilidad.
Moment of weakness.

My moment of weakness
comes
and I break.

I shatter;
collide;
reform;
rebreak.
I scatter
into billions;
trillions;
seize oblivion
with a
glass-embedded, crimson-weeping
hand.

I am strong until I quake.
I am firm until I shake.
I will give all I can take
until the moment that I break.

Moment.
Of.
Weakness.

Strong as a mountain,
hard as a stone;
weathered away
one particle per gust.

My formidable facade
gives way with the wind
and my moment of weakness,
the moment I trust
is upon me.

It begins to unravel;
a landslide of faults
emerges with the cracks
that I hide.

Falling; colliding;
cracking again. Worse than before.
The beautiful, harmless, innocent
mask is denied.

And they see who I am.

My moment of weakness comes
and I break.
My moment of weakness comes.
My moment of weakness.
My moment...
My moment...

My...

Weakness.

Moment of weakness.
