Sit down with me before you go..
it’s hard for you, babe i know..
But i don’t know when i’ll see you again,
And itsgonna getlonely...

See you’d be foolish if you stayed here now
Maybe if you leave we could work this out
Cause the city only breaks you down
And it gets you lonely...

Truth is that i’ll let you go
All these words you’ll never know
Now you’re gone, without a trace
And it gets lonely...

I wished you missed me like i missed you
Loved me, like i loved you too
But the only broken heart is mine
And it gets lonely..

Don’t forget to remember me
And all the things we used to be
I’ll sit here and write this rhyme
Cause i’m far too lonely..

Yes, this is beautiful indeed. I read this to myself with an Australian accent and it still made sense and everything. Great poem. :p
