In a tiny little bottle,
smaller than my hand,

I've a handful of the seaside
filled with crystal grains of sand.

In a tiny little bottle,
there's a taste of beach I've saved.

If you listen hard and concentrate
you can hear the sighing waves.

Misa: I can't imagine a world without Light!
L: Yes, that would be dark.

If the bottle is smaller than your hand, how do you fit a handful insdie?

Handful is a relative term. It's like a pinch or a dash. At least where I live, handful had gone from being a literal "hand full," to just picking up some with your hand. Though I do see your point. It could have been written with something else. =^-^=
