If I'm late,
will you wait for me?
If I fall,
will you run to catch me?
And I know
I fall a lot.

If I'm gone,
will you rush to find me?
If I'm scared,
will you be there to calm my fears?
'Cause I know
I'm scared you're not.

If I fight,
will you be there to stop me
before I lose all my self control?
'Cause I know I lose it
time and time again.

If I cry,
will you be there by my side?
If I lose my dreaming,
will you be here?

i really like your works. its like someone is living my life too. it is comforting to know other people go through similar things like me.

I always find it ridiculously comforting when I come across a poem that nearly parallels my own life. It's a shocking- yet welcome- realization when I come to terms with the fact that other people really do know almost axactly what I feel. =^.^=
