I want to go to a movie
and laugh out loud.
Blend in,
and then stand out in the crowd.
Do something dangerous
with someone I love.
Find out what I'm really made of.

I want to dance
with a bolt of lightning.
Take a punch,
then go down fighting.
Flirt with a boy,
run like the wind.
Try to find myself again.

Make big mistakes
and brush them off.
Break down crying,
then stand up tall.
Hold onto a stranger,
fall asleep in his arms.
Finally have someone succumb to my charms.

Write a song
that changes a life.
Lay on a beach,
learn to fly a kite.
Have a lunch date,
laugh with some friends.
Go somewhere I've never been.

Make someone feel cherished,
steal someone's breath.
I don't want to tiptoe through life,
only to arrive safely at death.

Wow! oh & you dont have to worry about the
takeing someones breath away thing anymore

Thank you so much, everyone! I was kind of worried about posting this one, since it's so unlike any of the other poems I write... But it was definitely worth it! = ] Thanks for all the encouragement!
