You're like a shadow on my thoughts You cling to my very heel Deranging every memory possessed Making my head reel You make it hard to breathe Make it hard to get up sometimes You keep me late at night Holding no reason to this rhyme My body aches yet I try to move Keep pushing right up and through I don't like feeling on an island My torturous sanctuary away from you You say you care but I second guess Can't you see what its doing to me? Just nod your head like you understand For you can't see what its like to be d e p r e s s e d |

Zach, I think a poet's challenge is to put feelings into words, and you did that. Maybe because I can relate, but more likely because you have talent. Thanks for posting this, and I hope stuff works out, or goes away with time. -Rileigh |
