~One Little Word~

One little word
Can light the world on fire
Igniting, relighting
Deepest, darkest desires
The demons spring from heart locks
And the floodgates spring free
The torrent flows forth
Sturdy walls now debris
For one little word can kill
Love, lust and life within
One syllable- a deadly assassin
With a butcher knife grin
Yes one little word
Can change the tide
You said you loved me
Now heaven, hell collide
You lied
I cried
The word has since died
Never say love...
Until you decide
