This was written on whim and impulse and lack of sleep. No rhyme! Shocker. Not sure about this.

Jigsaw

Hello, itís late
My begging brain is still awake
Iím creeping into a nocturnal state
But who am I to blame?

Curtains are drawn against a
Moving sea of fleeting shapes
Cruel and dark and so necessary
They crack my skull and leak into my mind

Here I Am
A single clay piece fitting into the
Splattered fractures of my time
With the hilarity of my loneliness
Married with a choking sense of claustrophobia

But who am I to blame?
Joints crack to fill the silences
That slither through a guilty existence
How easy it is to sit back and
Murmur with the pulsing pain

Iím one single silly strand woven into the
Matted hair of a passing phase
Pondering meaningless points
Ironic Ė isnít it?
But who am I to blame.

I really like this. It still had some sort of rhyme, which was nice. It was very interesting and original.

It was good especially since it was on a whim and lack of sleep. I think, for me, I write better when I'm tired! I'm weird like that.
