days of mental torture days to stay asleep ignore the world stay in bed words to forget thoughts to leave behind people to ignore others who need not mind dont knock on this closed door no matter your face you are not welcome still you wonder no you cant just walk in no tickets will be sold to this one act show drinks are on me they come with price dont think twice the first round went down nice lasting humor to an empty room silence no one listens any way my usual crowd the stuffed teddy bear sits in his usuall corner the froggy too they listen just like you except youre asleep so you can dream empty rooms are nice there isnt a sound no one to tell you dont so you do this way at least sleep will come eventually |
