summer time,

has arrived,
with heat and sun
but we’re deprived.

birdsong so sweet
the clear blue sky
fresh mowed grass
   look, the last butterfly.

watch that smog,
    break air.
grey and thick
a devil’s lair.

rivers, polluted
putrid smells
green gas bubbles
fill our wells.

painful winds,
       cut like knives.
like callous words.
they take our lives.

Destruction.

Lost girl..

Find me?

A very heartfelt write, as I had no idea that human destruction had also reached there as well.  What a shame, we are doing this damage to this world of ours.
