Burst through the shattered glass, as you transition from substance to trash. The mechanical hand unleashes its wrath on man.

Broken gears unravel in the unbiased chains of time, as man's hopes and dreams are left to die.
Chaos and creation interwine.

Shoot down the crane of the mainstream ways, as it smashes the brick of change that once was laid across these barren plains.

This God forsaken land, built up by man and brought down by those same hands, has turned into a sea of ash mixed with sand.

Mankind has let metal rise beyond its right, to conquer us in our weakness, and enslave us to its plight. Society has died.

"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortals ever dared to dream before;" -Edgar All

I am quite sure that there may be about 40-50 years difference in our ages, but I can sure hear what you are saying in this and agree with you.  Maybe your generation is the first to close the gap.   Well done.
