He started the day with a slip and a fall,
He was left alone by his parents,
Eating at the table alone.
Getting ready for school alone.
Waiting for the bus alone.
Riding the bus alone.

You know it was wrong.

He got tripped in the cafeteria,
His favourite soup, chicken noodle.
His favourite sandwich, turkey and mustard.
His mom's special brownies.
Crushed beneath peoples feet,
feet walking on both sides of him.

You know it was wrong.

They couldn't think of something to say the day he left,
No explanations,
No letters.
He never had a friend.
Counselors came in to our school,
But they never talked to anyone about him,
There wasn't anyone.

You know it was wrong.
