Then and Now
When we were children
We used to giggle,
Laugh,
Bake mud pies,
And play dress up.
It was fun.

Now
You gossip
Giggle,
Laugh
Joke
At me,
Bake up lies.
And dress up the truth.
It isnít fun.

Itís not funny
You laugh at my tears
Youíre happy at my sadness
You smile at my frowns
Who are you to do this to me?

Burn them
Sticks and stones
May break my bones
But the lies
You tell
Will burn in hell forever.
