In my head,
I am dead.
Shoot the crow,
back down again
into the hole
from where it sprang.

In my head,
My pain said,
"The crow remains".
Thus things return
to their old ways.
The black crow caws.

In my head,
Blood runs red.
Constant beatings
of both my heart
and fragile body
where crows roam free.

In my head,
crows are fed,
by the great sadness
that lays hidden
in the deepest hole
of my dark soul.

Feed them.
Leave them.
Free them... Freedom... Freedom.

Deny them their freedom,
and in turn deny myself.
For the crow is my child,
who shall forever dwell,
In my head.

"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortals ever dared to dream before;" -Edgar All
