When I was a child-
I saw in black and white-
everything was obvious-
Either right or wrong-
No arguments,no pros and cons.

Choices were precise-
Pure and joyous clarity-
Gave me a simple life-
So I grew and learned to face the world-
Living life that way.

And now I feel unprepared-
'Cause black and white turned gray-
My unfaltering vision failed-
Focus failed my eyes-
Where choices were obvious.

I can't tell wrong from right-
Because today I am a teenager-
And nothings quite so clean-
I'm seeing through an adult's eyes-
A child's worst fear.

ahh sometimes i wish i could go back to when things appeared in black and white, how much more simpler life seemed.  Loved the poem.

I like this poem.  It flows really well and reminds of how it was as a teenager.  I liked the black and white of childhood - and those teenage limbo years threw me for a real loop.

Good writing.

it was an okay poem seemed very simple though.
I, personally, like more complex vocab.
Good job.

I liked your poem, it has all the right words, but when i read it i don't feel the flow of the words. But that's just me.
