The stars fell from the sky last night,
taking down the night.
Don't forget,
they need to be remembered.

The moon burst into flames last night,
burning till it fell.
Remember it's beauty.
Don't forget it's grace.

The sun forgot to shine today,
I guess it felt alone.
But it took everything with it,
and now the world is colder.

I loved this one, Emily.

And all the roads that I've been strolling down... now I've found they all seem to be marooned. So profoundly doomed.

I like this poem because it reminds us to not take the beauty and wonder that the sky holds for granted.

I like how you "just feel like writing" and write.

I was just about to go out star gazing when I read this... and well, thanks to you I'm going to see the night sky in a fresh beauty. Much appreciated.

I have a pet unicorn...his name is Flavius, as in Flavius Belby. Flavius does not like gumballs..
