Girl, still Iím reaching out to you,
one of my past, not someone new;
the records of our friendship old,
are they a lie? No, they are true.
But happened this between us two,
that you made me depart from you.
Indeed this happened long ago,
thus we as foes seemingly grew.
But if with vigor you begin,
to study all thatís ever been,
that is, those things between us both,
then possibly your heart Iíll win.
Be willing, one I knew from old;
donít be indifferent; donít be cold;
this grudge of yours based on great lies,
will it still you against me hold?
Hear, if I may be this bold,
to blame you of the grudge you hold,
but I will not with wrath reproach,
for wars between us are of old.
If you will, join me in peace,
let enmity between us cease,
for of conflict there is no need,
let span of war no more increase.
"For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of love, and of power, and of a sound mind." - 2 Timothy 1:7
