Looking in the mirror
All I see is the ugly me
Lips swollen
Face all mucked up
Out of shape
Overweight
This stress is killing me

Everyone tells me
That I am strong
That I can make it
They don't know
How hard it is
To try to be
Perfect
Like everyone expects

Always put together
Always smiling
Even when my life's
Out of control

I try to smile
I try to do right
But it's always wrong
Everyone pointing out
My many mistakes
I try to move on
I try to do better
I try to hold my chin up
And smile

But its raining
And my word
Falls apart again
So I'll just keep
Looking ahead
And smile

The number one thing in acting is honesty: If you can fake that you've got it made.
