I'm not sure if this post pushes guidelines here..And i'm sorry if it does. but i'm not sorry for writing it.. So many kids are in situation simlar if not the same as this one and the ones that aren't are the people like me, the guys or girls picking up the broken hearts left behind by the people who say anything to get exactly what they want. This poem is for nicole.. my friend, the girl i could have saved from the bragging rights of a teenage boy that i'm sincerly ashamed to call my brother.

________________________________________________

For all the words i wished i said
For all the times i shook my head
For all the days i've watched you hurt
When He Treated You Like Dirt

For all the hearts i've watched him break
For all the scar's he's yet to make
For all dreams that i've watched die
Everytime he made you cry...

For all the years that i've let pass
For all the sorry's that never last
For all the hopes that i once had
When he promised not to make you sad

For all the love you had in him
For all the the times he made you sin
For all the words i have to say
I'm sorry that it turned out this way

For all the busted bones you've seen
For all the bruises he didn't mean
For the viginity that you let him take
For Your heart that i watched him break

But this rhyme it's just not good enough
He's left you drowing out at sea
Exhausted, Tired, Broken
By the boy he'll always be

It's so painful to watch those we care about make mistakes that hurt themselves and others. A very poignant and well written poem!

Its a really sad poem for sure, but extrememly good. I can totally relate to it. I hope Nicole moves on. It will take time though, it took me almost a year.

Best of luck,

This is an amazing poem. sad but true

If you don't like something,
Change it...
If you can't change it,
Change the way you think about it
