Small town, Illinois
Lamp post light the corners
While the shadows stretch their dark hand.
The city is cold and bitter.
Buildings scrap across the night sky
Winter is here in the city
And I'm left out with all the cold
Walking these empty streets
Fearing the worst is to come.
Silence is spoken softly.
A lady stands at the corner
Her business is her own
A siren voice escapes her lips
Enticing and tastefully she sings
Smitten and captured within her words
She leads me away to ask for a deal
"Do you like what you see?"
She asks as I stare into her bright eyes
"It can all be yours but you give me something dear"
I search my pockets finding nothing.
"No money?" she says
"Well that's alright.."
She grabs my hand, captured in her soft grip.
Our lips meet lightly upon this cold winters night.
She's kissing down my neck
while my hands tend to wander.
This little kiss and love nips
playing on my neck.
I'm forced up against the wall
Hot air hanging on my breath
Her teeth scrap against my neck
I cry out in agony but silence is taking over.
I writhe on the ground, begging for mercy
Wishing to stop this pain.
But my blood is going on fire
And my eyes are slowly going dark..
I wake up again from a terror's dream
Murderous and filled of shadows.
I was bitten by a vampire last night
While I become just another follower
Blood lust hanging on my tongue
As I scream but find only pain.
The lady there is watching me
Smiling; showing porcelain fangs.
I see it in her eyes
What price I had to pay
but now I sit within the hands of shadows
Hiding from the light of day.
