*Not my best. It was kind of forced out*

The Inevitable Hierarchy
A four-part poem

Anarchy of the Soul (Part 1)

Get down on the ground,
Can¡¯t you hear that sound?
It¡¯s the rage of an angry soul.

Down with the standards; out with the rules.
Shut down all systems!  Forego all fools!

Feel for the whole,
Do you hear that toll?
It¡¯s the song of an empty soul.

A missed chord.
Too much Dischord.
A broken melody.

Put down the distractions,
enough with the factions,
And end to anarchy of the soul.

Monarchy of the Mind (Part 2)

Anarchy resembles freedom¡¦
But only instigates instability.

You won¡¯t have need of any other.
¡®Cause I¡¯ll give you my all.
So give me all of you,
and let me enthrall.

Invest in me
(Leave all else behind).
Why not embrace
The monarchy of my mind?

A Democratic Heart (Part 3)

One¡¯s heart will never be a democracy.
Reason?
A heart has priorities.
A hierarchy.

Hierarchy of the heart

So what does a heart need the most?
Simple: Love
Love tames anarchy and humbles monarchy.
But tread softly,
¡®Cause a broken heart is the hardest to rebuild.

I have to admit I was unsure about this until I read the very end. Once I read that, everything sort of fell into place. I enjoy reading your writing, keep it up!
