Laying among the bones of the damned
The tortured souls whisper their regrets
They cry of lost loves and selfish deads
Reaching out in silence
Begging to be heard

I listen quietly
Reflecting on my own missteps
Had I done this?
Should I have done that?
The if onlys and what ifs weigh heavy on my soul

The burden of my choices seem unbearable
To weak to admit my failings
To afraid to face the truth
Lying to myself
Justifying my actions

I yearn to join them
Frozen forever in this agony

~The 'always' questions we drown in, I've known well, sweetie!

Jus' remember it takes two to tango & blame
is owned by both. We learn to heal through love in good and bad times, I believe.

much enjoyed & be well!
