Were your
stems not
strong enough
to hold
your gentle petals?

Was your
earthen residence
not a comfort
to you?

Have you now
found peace
where a fairy's wings
might flutter?

Do
you
still
think
of me?

This tears my heart apart, dear Max. It is beautifully sad.

I very much appreciate your sentiment. This was written during a period of despondency that many others may also relate to.

We're human, and you and I both are familiar with a wide spectrum of experiences that are sometimes revealed in the words we write.

Many bright blessings to you.

Regards from Bluesy

Awww. It is sad. I hope it had a happy ending.

To call oneself a poet is a vain remark indeed. After you're dead, let others eulogize you as such if they feel you are worthy.
