Little red birds
Singing in the trees
Little girls playing
Down on bloody knees.

Listen to the laugh,
Listen to the joy
Listen the the breaking
Of silly little toys.

Innocence is easy,
Keeping it is hard
Especially with him
Playing along.

Don't you know it's not okay,
Don't you know it's wrong
To take the little girl
Who was just wondering along.

Sick little human
Scream the birds to him.
Sick little human
To act on every whim.

This makes me feel anger...
Well done.

"Listen the the breaking
Of silly little toys."
~This line just haunts, solid image!

Your last stanza tears me to pieces.
An over'all excellent write.
To your subject matter, I hope your words
heal anyone going through this; To know life
can change and be better than this pain.

hugs & kudos poet!
