That we are
ever changing.

Chasing
the glint of fiery
dragons hiding
under cotton bed sheets
before the flames
engulf
all that was known.

Or flies.

Dead black dots of
nothingness.

Hmm, stimulated the imagination...as a young boy, my favorite window was the "witchen kindow". In the 1940's, it was was the "fore runner" of my computer monitor.

Enjoyed your poem...keep up the good work!

Dragons come first, the flies can wait.

Intriguing poetry. Dark and darker.

quote:
"I can't escape the windows. I close my eyes and I see the frightening depths of my soul. I open them again and see the frightening depths of the souls around me".
