Bashed, broken, bruised,
beaten bloody.
Torn apart
tantalizingly
slow.
Bones snapped
and skin scratched
leaving me
a mangled
mess.

And I can't heal
correctly.
I let my body
rebuild itself
but ignore all
the overpowering
emotions.
Infection
inflaming
my mind.

Yes--
time does heal.
But who the hell
forgot to mention
it heals
how it's left?

Never
set back
to how I was,
I heal
incorrectly.

Now
I'm perminately
bashed, broken, bruised
beaten bloody
even though
I appear

perfect.
