Why do you say I don’t know anything? When I do! Why do you think I don’t know anything? When I do! Tell me!? Is it because I look innocent? Is it because I am locked up in a cage? Is it because I’m young? Tell me…?- Why do you keep on thinking that? Why do you keep on saying that? Should I prove it to you? That I know!- In this world There is poverty. People are dying in wars Crime is spreading throughout the areas. Gas prices are unbelievable Because of what happened in Libya. There is corruption Lying, deceit, and betrayal going on. Everyone is getting greedy for the money. There was a shooting at Virginia tech. In Pakistani dramas girls are more modernized/westernized Same with Bollywood movies.- Now let me talk about the natural disasters There was a tsunami in Japan There were tornadoes in Joplin This world is in a mess. There are natural disasters in every corner of the world!- Now tell me! Do you still think that I don’t know anything? Do you….? Because I think you are the one That doesn’t know anything!- I have experienced life like you did! I have experienced things too?!- I talked about the world now lets talk about me…! Do you know how much I suffer every night? Do you know how much I’m traumatized?- I get freaky dreams at night! I am scared of other people… I am scared of trusting others… Because of what happened. I am horrified of everything I think about others of what They would think about me! I wish I can live in peace But I can’t! Do you know how difficult it is for me? Do…you? There words were stinging my heart And still do! I always keep my feelings locked up inside! I always keep my secrets hidden! Do you think that’s easy? Do you think that’s difficult? Because there are some people That can’t even hide their feelings Or hide their secrets. I also hold back my tears! I also keep my tears hidden! Do you think that’s easy? Do you think that’s difficult? Because to me it’s easy But there are some people That can’t even do that. I am proud of my self Of the way I am. Now tell me Do you still think that I don’t know anything? Do you….! Because I know what life is more than you! |

thank you hehe i wanted to prove to this person that i know things and that i expereienced life cuz that person always thought i didnt know anything and then thats how i wrote this poem and i got that persons reply on this poem |

thank you i was kind of disappointed that one of my friend who is 6 yrs older than me always thinks that i dont know anything when i doooo so i wrote this poem for him and i sent it to him |

This is great. I think everybody feels this way at one point or another in life. I've found that the ones who say others don't know anything are usually dumbasses trying to mask their own ignorance.
