      Do you know mistakes?
    The ones who don't have what it takes?
  The ones at the back of the class,
the ones seemingly made of glass?
  Cold and strong, but shatters when broken
    into sharp pieces that cut and make you
    wish you'd never spoken?
      Do you know mistakes?
    The ones who stand out from the fakes?
  The ones with eyes down cast,
the ones that would burn much too fast?
  Hot and powerful, but obviously lost
    to the point of where it is hopeless, however
    small the cost?
      Do you know mistakes?
    The ones who fight the moment they wake?
  The ones who walk out of place,
the ones seemingly made of lace?
  Delicate and fragile, but never taken care of
    so they will never know what it is to be
    loved?
      Do you know mistakes?
    The ones with cruel fates?
  The ones doomed to cry,
the ones all alone when they die?
  Cold and hurt, never with love
    not even from the good great god high
    up above?
      Do you know mistakes?
