you know when you get that feeling
that you just can't think of anything
    the paper is white, staring
                 waiting
and you feel empty inside because you can't think
                      of better words than cliche
that's been used a thousand times
crumpled beside the bed in the trashcan
dug out again flattened and expectorated
like something new just because of
small variations here or there |
but the lines are all the same verse |
   as before, a statement that's worse  |
than just screaming to get it out    |
like an ingrown blackness dug under skin|
impossible to remove like knowing me you|
they while impotent in the face of being|
                                     sin|
that's an act before you were terse|
without concern because ideas are so old+

I've been gone for a few years, and Fractal is still here, and he's still got it. Nice write. Ironic name
