Teddy won’t make it better.

Dolly can’t make it better.

Both have outgrown their keeper
Not keeper them.

Strangled the life out of them,
asphyxiated by devoted hands.
Fur only useful as a coat.

Teddy use to make it better.

Dolly was good at making it better.

Bystanders of a different era
life has outgrown them
Not them life.

Their conception of real, true love
only diminished with the theory
and pain of having to grow up.

Teddy.

Dolly.

You can’t make it better now

Both let out into the cold.

She’s on her own.

Ah, I too wish that darn Teddy could make it better....but alas, We've both outgrown each other. Enjoyed.

Such a deliciously sad poem.

I love it, skilfully done.

'I feel like an animal, and I don't think that I get it. But one day I'll see you around.'
