No solid foundation...
On this field of emotionless dreams.
He fought for the freedom of a nation
The same one that ripped out his heart and ate it.
He feels Unholy pain, the shame of capital gain.
He ascertained the zealous. He is inhumane and hopeless!
He's an animal catching prey, crossing the vale!
What is becoming of this beast forged in battle.
The heart beats from the forthcoming sunder
the legs tremble, the ground covered in organic matter.
Run through field and meadow,
avoid the web and black widow.

Feel the Shimmering form of the ethereal
He sees the seconds missing between the blinking eye.
An endless highway of countless horizons
Suffering an age contained in necropolis with the souls
lost when the oceans flooded Atlantis
The cartilage broken, blood flowing
fists pound, rage exploding!
Dream Ending...

A man awakes with tears not fake.
The sheets soaked, the screams evoked.
For each of the contractions,
her thoughts of revenge are provoked.
urgency is needed before the child is birthed.
Got his wife, keys, some brandy and hope
Dropped his wife off, parked the car and joked.
Life is renewed, a babies named tattooed.
In a split moment he recounted life's endless mile.
It'll all be worthwhile,
when he holds his little 'lily of the Nile'.

A child is born through flesh that's torn.
the parents ecstatic, the parents are tired.
A mother holds her baby, totally inspired.
The Father falls asleep right by her side.
He returns to battle, a modern day Jekyll and Hyde.
To both mother and child this night he lied.
Said he would be there in the morning.
But this was the night he died.

The last part was the most heartfelt and I think, the best.
