Choose your blade
This one tempered by the heat of a thousand moments in a broken home
That one stiffened by the blows of an abusive husband
This one raked over hot coals of poverty and hammered by insults

crushed, petrified, pulverized, galvanized
   the finest steel out of which to
   compose lucidly
   diamonds crushed by years of experience
   extract them
   and cut
   the glass
a concrete stronger than the best girders to
build               veneer                 a
creative                                soul
borne            of                       by
abuse                                carried
to         society                      term
through                      to        other
means                           expectorated
while               pieces            living
propping up a vital heaven in spite of  hell
whatever
they try
to tell
you.

Life's short. Think hard!
