Eyes whisper temptation.
A merciful embrace.
Diamonds, like stars
viewed as immortalized pictures.
An oasis of fiction.
Forgetful fairy tales
with tragic endings.
That just my life
and it's just beginning

I feel the steel,
the fire, the stone.
I feel alone, the desire,
the appeal.
The Northern air,
the Southern sea.
The Western lands
the Eastern sands.
I hear Dragon's sing.
I dream ageless dreams.
The moonlight illuminates
like pale flames.
Fierce words,
brooks and birds
Bright red petals seem vexed
next to cursed bleached lips.

I write poems as if my life
was in 'closed-caption'
A lethal redeemer,
The hand of a greedy abuser.
I still feel her, in the spine.
God...pray I don’t face you.
What you took from the earth,
did nothing but shine...
No peace of mind, heartfelt emotion.
The mind state of explosions.
No cure, feeling unsecure...
Here in the gutter,
here...in the ghetto.

See, life is a scandal
We react and fly off the handle.
All the eternal blessings that follow
feel shallow, feel hallow,
I feel lost, I guess its fate.
I feel like Lucifer
running from heaven's gate.
Zero tolerance for an
absence in the brilliant
essence of a constant
pure conscience.

My preference...
in the structure of sentences,
feature rhymes
on the brink of disaster.
They speak of thoughts
only told to a pastor.
Sinister passion.
Clashing like oil and water.
Like a clown crying to others.
Cascading crimson, unholy treasure.
A world so horrific,
I hope it gets better!!

A blend of the surreal and the sinister in this well penned Dark write.

Just a couple of the lines I really liked:

"I feel the steel,
the fire, the stone."

"I hear Dragon's sing."
