Where's the line; sketched in ink; I stick around for reasoning Behind the failure of entertaining; Fantasies told by night time wailing We could be honest or I could be lying; Curiousity leads to naive's trying Reality, mentality; Questioning what it meant to me Saving time that we've been killing; Eyes forced open, but not unwilling I smile as the world floats by; Liquid pain screams dark disguise Expectations; Lies misread; Turning pages; Fiction fragments Brainteasers force soul eaters; Sunrise picture and tale creators Veins pulsing through thick injections; For a single moment of imperfection Speechless on the topics start; Watch insomnia tear apart Inside out; No whereabouts Holding tight to what I know; Taking this where no one goes Misconceptions; Doubt unfolds; Minutes turn to stories told Alleys laced with rumors traced; Fear intakes your romance stage I fall exposed to a trap I loathe; What-if case scenarios Emily Shives February 27th 2009 Friday |
