This winter's death grasp tightens around me,
Solitude wreathed in abyssal cold,
Where is the morning? Where is the sunrise?
Alone with shadows of horror untold.

These Endless days of relentless torment
Since Thanatos took my gentle love's life,
Solitude killing the feeble daylight
And promising nothing but empty strife.

Angels sing for the blessed called homeward
While my cold eyes weep for the bitter loss,
Can heaven truly strike so cruelly?
Is eternity bought at such dread cost?

This is very very sad, dear Luke, though beautifully written.  But you know Thanatos is not the winner. Love goes on, the soul connection experiences continuity.

But melancholy is deeply rooted and surfaces every now and then because of the physical loss.

Love,
Margherita

Nice. I like the visuals this piece brings a lot. Nice one man.
I took your advise btw and dropped a poem in the open poetry section

Luke,

I'm sure that Georgina is looking down and watching you. Sharron is a beautiful soul you have there. I don't know but I'm presuming that she loves you unconditionally.  Just because you don't have Georgina there doesn't mean she doesn't want you to live happy.

Be there to catch you when you fall mate,
Zach

P.S. Love the poem.

When I see your smile, and I know it’s not for me, that’s when I’ll miss you.

Beautiful as always.
I'm sure Georgina is looking over you and willing you to be happy. You will meet again.

Much love,
Eirian
