“So high and mighty you are, Look upon the brilliant star! See the glow it gives, It’s proud of what it is!” Look upon the brilliant star I know what you really are. “You’re the brightest in your group, Your life is ribbons and bows! So peaceful and high They say you own the sky!” Look upon the brilliant star I know what you really are. “You’re the bow, we’re the arrows. We fire at your will” No point in hiding it Don’t throw a fit You’re the bow and we’re the arrows So what’s the scar in your heart? “When night comes round You take flight You’re the brightest in the night” When dawn comes you go down with a frown All it took was just one arrow It’s not much But it destroyed you Turned you into this Now all you want is attention It makes you feel supreme Allows you to forget the arrow That struck your star And left you a scar It destroyed your heart Now your story is tart She past you, but doesn't notice you. |
