Spring has come
With a farewell to our winter romance
The memories you left me
Bought tears in eyes of stone behind trembling hands
Twilight ecstasy and midnight bliss
With the sound of soft whispers and joyful tears
Beating hearts and sweet breath
By candlelight in the crisp scent of january snow
But my nights have turned me to despair
And the days leave me naked and blind
A temporal haze of shallow pleasures and vice
Aching to fill the yawning gulf
When you departed our loving sphere in sorrow
You took the better part of my sundered soul
Farewell

On the seashore I espy the dreadful void under the tides
