The minds of men form a thousand desires
Though their hearts hold dear but one
The stars of the night light a thousand pyres
Though there can be but one sun
In the dark and the cold we rest our heads
And wonder what will become
All of heavens lights cannot warm our hearts
When the eclipse of true love comes

On the seashore I espy the dreadful void under the tides

Geez, Luke! I couldn't write something even if I spent years concentrating! Your amazing.

Thanks Zach. There hasn't been a lot of love for the dark forums lately, this includes myself writing more romantic works in open and not wallowing in self pity.

Lately I've been trying to capture the darkness within without letting it consume me and ending up writing endlessly on the same grim subject.

Not sure if I'm winning, but if you check out One Heaven Sent, Sleeping Seraph and Beauty for the End of Days in open, then you will see I'm making steps to shedding my burnt and torn armour and embracing the new and good in my life.

Never sigh for a better world, it's already composed, played and told.
