You promised community and friendship
             love and acceptance
             imagination and freedom
What you gave was spurning and criticism
                  tolerance and rejection
                  guilt and legalism

When I met God you told me
The devil had ensnared me

         joy in nothingness is
         intolerable to you
         yet God - is was that he
         is - created ex nihilo

       imagination and creation is
   evil to you because the Bible tells you so
         
              You killed God and used
              the atheists as your alibi

So now I am lonely with
only God to talk to
