This Glorious Morning
by Linda L. Dowd

Mountain tops shimmer as the brumal sun
makes its slow ascent in the east.
This glorious morning follows
the penetrating darkness
of a cold, winter’s night.
As I step into the brightness
of a new dawning day,
I am suffused with a sense of well-being.
I am at peace ~ within and without,
for all is well
in my little corner of the world.

You make me feel as if you poured your heart's emotions into mine through these most beautiful, peaceful, uplifting, sunny words.

I will cherish this little Morning glory poem and keep it, as a reminder of being grateful for life's gifts, nature's gifts, love's gifts.

Thank you, Angelo Terrestre!

Love and hugs.

Earth Angel - I see the mountains covered with snow and look out the window and see the same, just beautiful in winter right now...

Thanks, I needed that!

It's great you are in that place spiritually and physically...you sure display it beautifully in both image and words...and it can't help but rub off. kat

I'm sure that all is well in your world, Linda. Could be because you're in it.
